Introduction
This WebQuest is about discovering Newton's Three Laws of Motion. You will be scouring the internet in order to gather as much information as possible for your final project. As you work your way through this WebQuest, you will develop a deep understanding for terms like inertia, balanced and unbalanced force, friction, momentum, and gravity. You will use the information that you have painstakingly gathered to produce a slideshow (PowerPoint) that explains Sir Newton's most famous laws: Newton's Three Laws of Motion. I will assist you through several links that I'll provide for your sanity. You will receive extra points for up to three extra sites that you find helpful in this endeavor. That is right, extra exploring can earn extra points! Pretty cool, eh? Oh, and by the way, the slideshow will be presented to fifth graders. Keep this in mind when creating the slideshow. Make it entertaining, as well as educational, or they will eat you alive! No, really! We lost three eighth graders last year to one of the fifth grade classes!
